Strange I do the full detail Engine first, I guess to set the mood for the rest of the car or at least see if it fits!I have been known to build 2 or 3 engines to make sure they fit and looks right. Chris

I guess we all have our own build flow. For me I prefer getting the body completely done through decaling, polish & wax. Body is then placed in it's display case as a visual reminder as I work the build. joel

Thanks for checking in guys. Having a storm come through So Cal meant I spent all day Sunday inside working on this. The suspension is a stack of p/e leaf springs. After the engine was installed, the chassis braces were added. Radiators and shrouding. 770

This work just gets better and better.Have you given thought to sending this WIP to Peter Brock? I know that he would be interested in seeing your work. Steve

I got the rotors and calipers installed. Then I put the wheels on to make sure I didn't have any alignment issues. Rear window frame painted and hinged. Window was glued and clamped. I'll take the clamps off tomorrow and see how it looks. 990

Paul, Just amazing quantity and super quality of work on the Cobra. The rear brakes with the caliber and brake line is just mind boggling. At this rate you'll be ready for priming and color coats.

I want to get all of the detail parts that go on the body dialed in before the color goes on. With that in mind, I worked on the rear window. After getting the clamps off, I trimmed the edges and installed the rivets. I spent some time doing tiny decals. Mostly the switch labels and gauges. If you're wondering why the one gauge looks foggy, it's because instead of using the kit supplied gauge faces, I decided to use some clear glue. I bought this product from Art Laski. It dries clear. And it's also the stuff I used to adhere the rear window to the frame. One hour later and the first gauge is already looking good. So the rest got done. 1144
