 The latest release from MFH is the Cobra Daytona coupe developed by Shelby. It allows you to build one of four versions of the original cars. I was lucky enough to get my pre-order in early enough to get a kit. I'm leaning towards doing chassis CSX2286, which competed at Le Mans in 1965 with Dan Gurney driving. MFH annouced that they had sold out all of their first run of kits and are doing a second production run in order to fill the remaining pre-orders. To say excitement has been high on this would be an understatement I should have my kit this week and will post pictures when I get it. |

He usually waits until he gets an order from the customer before he orders from MFH. But MFH has sold out of them already, so getting one from Upscale will be tough. Plus I paid less than the discount including postage. |

Wow!
What a kit. Just couldn't ask for a better subject. This is going to be one fantastic build to follow. But I better hit the snack isle at ShopRite and buy a very large supply of Jiffy Pop Popcorn.

Just a great start to a great build.
I'm assuming that it's gray primer around the rear window frame for a blackish rubber gasket paint.

I see. But wouldn't the window frame be on the top of the window. Sure sounds from your description that it could very well be a rubber gasket.
