Ben, About the only GT3 cars we could ever hope for them to do would be the entire Corvette series, but would that have enough of an market to make it worth while financially for them? Jim, The basic Dallara chassis has been around since 2012. I never really gave it much thought but I'm assuming that the basic car has been used since then with various upgrades and aero packages that are basically bolt, screw on. Why couldn't they offer them by year, allowing us to be able to build any car since 2012? Of course Michael at IndyCals would be a very, very busy guy. joel Joel, I've had the same thoughts, we can only hope! I would think it will depend on how well this model does. Back in the day I would've thought that too with the Tamiya Lola. The 90 through 93 Lola were pretty much the same car with minor touches here and there, mainly with suspension and some minor changes with the body. For 94 and 95 the changes would've been a little more gradual work for the body, namely the side pods, nose and rear cowling. However, nothing ever came of it, even with after market guys! So, I am just trusting the Salvino JR will eventually take this experience further than just the current form of Indy car. I agree with you, I'd love to see the backdate to 2012, I would also love to see the previous Dallara from 05 to 11! I would also love to see Salvino JR pick up some of the older Indy car molds and re-release some of those too! We can only hope!
Jim

I guess I should've quoted what Rick said.

Here is some more shots of the new kit. Looking great! I talked to Rick on the phone the other day and they are working on some neat stuff that they will eventually announce and the pre orders are selling very well, which is no surprise.
