JC, What brand resin body is that? I have never seen an Abarth... I understands it's an old ScaleKraft kit. I'm told Star Dust Hobby House is offerings an Abarth kit on FaceBook.

JC, Great to see you posting again as I was starting to be concerned if everything was ok health wise. And you've made quite an appearance for sure. The Porsche 356 series was the very 1st sports car that peaked my interest as a 15 year old or so through the pages of Road & Track. OK, it was my 1st dream car. Never got one, never got to even ride in one. And here you are doing 3 iconic ones, and super detailing them as well. You can bet that I'll be following your builds right to there conclusions. joel All good health wise Joel - thank you. Went through a job change and didn't have much free time to build. Life is getting back to normal again now.

JC, Good to hear from you, Outstanding work and detail on the 356, I love these kits and cars. Your engine is really well researched and detailed. I have done a couple 1900 Twin Cam engines like yours mostly for the Porsche 550, 356 Outlaw and VW Hebmuller, I am still working on them. Your attention to detail really comes through on this build and I thoroughly enjoyed your photos and W.I.P Give Me More!!!! Lol. Chris Ps. Now I have a few 356 kits without Engines and cant figure out what to do with them.. Texas 3d Customs offers a Porsche Flat-4. Don't have the engine so not sure if it would fit the Fujimi kit or not. tx3dcustoms.com/products/porsche-na-flat-4He has really nice stuff

I forgot I had bought one of the Flat 4 Turbo engines from another Ebay vendor, I like it because it is not pre- assembled . I think I will use it in one of the 356c kits I have with no engine.. There are lots of Flat 4 , Porsche 6 cylinder engine that are 3d printed. Chris

My kit come without glass or the air vent panel for the engine cover. - I've made flanges at the rear quarter windows to hold the glass
- made the vent panel
- repositioned the torsion bar access hole in the rear fender to align with the chassis

The kit provides side window frames but they are very fragile. I made my own with Evergreen strip. I like the look of the car without the vent windows and found a period photo of the car in that configuration.

JC, Nice job on the side window frames. Agreed that the side windows look so much cleaner and nicer without those vents.
