Love this thread. I have a few of these kits,even a spare engine. I have always been a bit intimidated by the Enthusiast kits...yet I still pick them up when I find a good deal. 😁

Work on the front: - Fabricated headlight and turn signal housings
- Opened the cooling slots
- Filled some unnecessary recesses

JC,
Your detailing continues to be on an Alien's level for sure. You make even those headlight housings look easy, but for us mortals there anything but that.
Great picture of Gurney taking a 356 out for a Sunday drive.

 I picked up a set of Singer style (projector beam) headlamps actually for 911 but fit really nice. I am working on getting parts and plans for a 356 Outlaw, a project I actually stated a few years back but didnt get very far.. Keep it Up JC your Abarth build is making me Drool....LoL Chris |

I forgot, The Singer Headlamps and a ton of Porsche parts are from scaleproduction.com.de They have a bunch of High Quality bits and pieces for mostly German made cars. Great Stuff I order a lot from them.. Chris

Fiddly bits: Sliced a piece of tubing for the head light trim rings I'll install a piece of rod later to simulate a bulb in the headlight housing added the release buttons for the door handles that will also act as a mounting pin    |

Man, that looks Great, the headlight trim rings are a excellent idea. What color is this going to be? I know most were Silver, excuse me German Silver!!! Loll Chris

back with a bang JC with a triple whammy WIP thread. Very interesting series of early porsches. the Fujimi kit is sweet with unbelieveable engine details , pistons and crankshaft seperate heads, nearly a shame to build up the engine with the detail being lost.
The Abarth is a very good lookig casting . Looking forwad to seeing more of this.
