I love 356s. Need to build one sometime. I will be watching these with interest. They are challenging kits. I've added mounting pins to several parts and built up the chassis and the main engine block before painting. Seemed to make things go a little smoother.

That looks fabulous JC. What kits are these? I want one!! Thanks Paul. The 356A and 356B/C are Fujimi Enthusiast kits. Easy to find but rather pricey. They were also released under the Testors label. There are other version, Cabriolet, Speedster, Roadster and Hardtop. The Abarth is a resin kit (body, seats and dash) using the Fujimi 356 as the base kit.

JC, Good to hear from you, Outstanding work and detail on the 356, I love these kits and cars. Your engine is really well researched and detailed. I have done a couple 1900 Twin Cam engines like yours mostly for the Porsche 550, 356 Outlaw and VW Hebmuller, I am still working on them. Your attention to detail really comes through on this build and I thoroughly enjoyed your photos and W.I.P Give Me More!!!! Lol. Chris Ps. Now I have a few 356 kits without Engines and cant figure out what to do with them..

JC, Great to see you posting again as I was starting to be concerned if everything was ok health wise. And you've made quite an appearance for sure. The Porsche 356 series was the very 1st sports car that peaked my interest as a 15 year old or so through the pages of Road & Track. OK, it was my 1st dream car. Never got one, never got to even ride in one.
And here you are doing 3 iconic ones, and super detailing them as well. You can bet that I'll be following your builds right to there conclusions.

Beautiful work going into these. They look fantastic. The enthusiast line up is so great and these may be the peak of that.

Don't have the engine so not sure if it would fit the Fujimi kit or not. tx3dcustoms.com/products/porsche-na-flat-4
