Outstanding, makes me want to get back on my Alan Mann AMR01/02 GT40 that is also a total scratchbuild in 1/16th scale. I am a bout half way through, but stopped to do some other projects. after the So Cal NNL in May I think it will be one of the first models I get back to....You have inspired me.. Thanks Chris

Man! The only way I tell the difference between the photo's of the real car and the model is that the model is brass-colored! The fact that this is is 1/24th scale is incredible! Do you work with a visor?

Hi Folks, Thank you Rob ! Chris, Appreciate the comment, can't wait to see your Alan Mann car. I was fondling a 1/16? GT40 kit at a show recently. It was a plastic kit that was motorized. Can't remember what the brand was but looked like it was from the '70s or '80s. The body actually looked pretty good with the rest being pretty simplified. Richard, Thank you Sir ! JC, Appreciate it my friend ! Hey Art, Thanks brother( tell Chris an John to kiss and make up would you!!!) Frank, Glad you like it ! The next part really was tough on the eyes. I probably look pretty silly with all the different helpers hanging off my face I use reading glasses and a flip down visor The GT40's did not have adjustable seats, they had a 'pedal box' that could be moved back an' forth to accommodate different drivers... Parts book drawing... My efforts..

Randy, what material did you use for the radiator cores? Don't tell me you scratch-built it or I'm impaling myself on my #11 blade...

Let me get this right: you put all that detail into a pedal cluster that you're going to shove into a foot-well and never be seen again? Please submit a photo of yourself to the Encyclopedia Britanica so they can do an article on dedication to detail! "Overwhelmed" seems to be the proper adjective here! Please build on--this is incredible... --Frank
