Hi Folks, Thanks JC, really appreciate your help! Lew, Thank you sir !! Frank, yeah, maybe a bit anal I really just wanted to push myself on this one. Art, used two sheets of mesh screen with some tubing in the middle. Mesh can be found here, 'RB Productions' is the maker. I found it when airplane model building. I think I used the 'Wavy' store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/rbpt027.htm Really fine stuff Randy

There are no superlatives to describe the craftsmanship on this build. It's out of this world.

Thanks for the response on the mesh, Randy. It looks like good stuff. It was nice to get another look at this masterpiece last weekend (and see you and your wife too!).

Hi Folks, Thanks Paul, We both seem to be working a whole lot of metal Thanks Art ! Still working to get this thread caught up... Steering is next. Wanted the wheel and the column to turn so that when the tires are posed I could also set the steering wheel in the proper position. Ref. pic. from the parts catalog..

Mind boggling detail Randy. Have you considering using these? I hope you kept a set for yourself before you sold out of them.
