I guess if I had gone back over the early part of this build before I posted, I would have seen that when you built up the carbs, the venturis were separate. Still, they look great-perfectly centered and all. The question remains: were they part of the HRM kit? --Please, build on... Thanks Frank. HRM includes the brass tubing for the venturis. You can just make it out in this photo.

Although the decals are 1/24 scale I think they fit fine.

JC were does one inquire and acquire Harold Bradfords stuff? Been curious about his stuff for awhile now I know NICE! Contact Randy Ditton for starters at Model Builders Warehouse. The link is in Randy's signature line in the post just above yours. You can also call Harold directly at the phone number on his packaging.

Great work reshaping the nose. It seems it would be easier to use the front body from an AMT 289 than the Sunny reshaped to a 427, then back to a 289. I don't know where you keep finding all those Sunny 427 Cobra kits JC. I've only EVER seen 1, and I own that one and bought it from someone in Japan. I've never even seen another on evilBay. The engine comes out looking pretty damned good after all the fuel lines and plug wires are in place. You can barely tell after that the manifold is way too long for the engine or that the beautiful Webers are more like 58s than 48s. Whether one is looking at CSX2260 that the title of the thread lists. Or at CSX2323, as JC said in an early post in this thread. Still makes a beautiful model JC.

I see size of manifold and carbs as an issue for HRM. Not you JC. Similar to the Accurate Miniatures GS Vette manifold fit.

I'm guessing you could cut the back half of the Sunny body and add it to the front of the AMT kit assuming you have both kits and do not mind the leftover halves.
