This is Ron Fellows' 57th birthday. Can't we pretend it's his car? --Frank

Frank, I think I still have a Revell Rain X Camaro, and I know I have several sets of Trans Am Camaro decals, not sure of the Fellows/Sunoco though. They are still out there so you could build this car for his 58th if you desire. I will let you know what I have.. Chris

I'm liking what I'm seeing! I want to follow this. I also have the Rain X Camaro with Sunoco decal set that I want to do someday, so thanks for the pic! It's more helpful than others I've scrounged up so far.

Here is what I have so far... I said it would be box stock but I can't do that, not all out, how about that. Nothing is glued yet, still fitting.

Thanks Chris, It's the 1992 Budweiser Mustang of Walter Payton, never in contention but I liked the car, too bad I never took any photos of it. I did spend some time with Walter on the pit wall one night after most people left the track (Detroit). Not that much on the internet but I think I can do it. The pics of the hood are a bit bright, not that way in person. The BUD came from a NASCAR sheet, #624 Cady, the NFL from a Gibbs NASCAR in my spares box. The Budweiser on the side (when I get to it) are from the Cady sheet #190 1986 Indy winner. Indycals makes this decal but it has a blue outline, right for the Indycar but not for the Mustang. Thanks for looking...Lew photo from the internet

Back when I still had the "building bug" I bought the Mustangs and Camaros, but was a bit disappointed that all used essentially the same frame and wiring, with only the bodies and engines different. I did like the detail they came with, deficient tho it was. I'll enjoy seeing more of this and hope you'll share it on your other "club" sites, THANX!

Cool work! I always wondered why the "road track specialists" didn't do better in their few NASCAR road track races. Different cars and different competition I suppose. Anyway, good luck!!!!
