Very sweet Joel, beautiful paint, nice and tidy build yummy stuff. W.Brown, for now all my builds will be centered around the huge learning curve from military modeling painting to car painting. To me it's like night and day. In my last 3 builds I've gotten better each time, and I'm continuing to trend in the right direction, which is amazing for me ! Thanks so much for taking the time to post through out the build, and liking the finish version. Joel

Turned out great Joel - nice work. JC, Special thanks for being along for the ride since day one, and all the suggestions and help. It's much appreciated. The more I learn about car modeling, the more I've come to realize just how much I need to still learn. Joel

Joel, I think that is probably the biggest reason I started this group, to show your work, ask questions and LEARN how everybody does things, we all do things slightly different and yet the same. I learn from you guys too, even with 50+ years of Model Car building I learn almost every day. I wanted to be a better painter so when KB Toys was going out of business I asked the Manager if they had any open kits I could buy , and he came up with 8 NASCAR Monte Carlo's that had the wheels & tires missing , so he offered them to me for $1. each. I would paint them, spray can and airbrush, strip them and start over until I figured out how to get Great Finishes . Practice makes perfect Ya know... Build On. Chris

Chris Chris, That's great advice for all of us, especially any of the new guys or even the lurkers who just don't think that they build well enough to be part of the group. The old saying is that we learn from our mistakes, how true that is. But with the internet, and sites like this, it's just much easier, and you never feel like you're going it alone. joel
