Ok, guys, I need to ask for some resource help. Where can I get 1/12th boltheads, cap nuts, in other words, little fiddly bits in other words... I know Top Studio makes some of this. KA is pretty much out as the pandemic has knocked getting anything from them in a reasonable amount of time. I can find shrink wrap and can make plugs and boots. I am already seeing this kit is lacking a distributor and plug wires which makes it weird. But I did find a great build log. All help is appreciated! my local hobby shop sells very small bolts/nuts from Hob bits. also found on e-bay. soak in brass black to make them look more authentic.

Model Car World makes the colors. 1oz bottles run $7.50. Lacuqer and enamals, pre-thinned for airbrushing. The Blue is Arcadia Blue for the #1 Miles car at LeMans. Car #3 was Rangoon Red. Both are Ford Factory Colors., All of the Shelby American and Hollman Moody cars were painted with colors used on Mustangs: Rangoon Red, Arcadia Blue; Acapulco Blue; Sliver Frost; Emberglow; Sauterine Gold; Raven Black; & Bright Yellow. Great info! Thanks for all that! I am not familiar with using lacquers in anything but the can. Anything special to that with an airbrush?

Is the red on the #1 car the Rangoon Red? And did you mean Arcadian Blue?

Yes, they are, and I have been using them to ship to Arizona for about 5 years and Never a problem, the Dollar does well against the Australian Dollar so its about a 20% discount. Most shipping is $4 to $5 dollars unlike Spot which can be excessive. Good Turnaround Time so what's not to like? Chris

This thread's on track for a record. We're already on page 2 and we haven't even started building anything yet.
And I agree Chris, Spotmodel is a great source but their delivery times are terrible and shipping is a bit overboard. But I'll be stuck for awhile, we've just locked down the entire Province so its on-line ordering only and good luck with that at this time of year.
And seasons greetings from the igloo.
cheers Paul

As always, thus group really knows how to support each other. I have had a great time here this year (one of the bright spots of 2020). So it is with great joy that I wish you all MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope all your kit dreams come true!
