JC, I see that the trained eye is as important as the skills to make those corrections and add those necessary details. I do try my best, but I miss so much on every build, and most of it is in plain sight.

You need to develop OCD Joel, like me then you will catch those details!

- Added corner braces and hood pins
- Added reinforcement plates to the top of the strut tower
- Added an angle to the core support to close the gap behind the grill and to more closely resemble the 1:1

Very nice JC. What did you use for those two hood pins in the corners/ They look real!

Thank you Paul. The pins are 24 ga. wire. Drilled a hole, cut them to length, filed the exposed end flat and glued them in.

JC, all little details that just continue to add up to a super detailed replica, as it's long past being just a detailed plastic model.

I need to pay better attention to forum topics, because I completely missed this one. That’s some outstanding work! Watching enthusiastically from now on.

JC, Come on, you really found a way to shrink the real dash down to 1/24 scale didn't you? Your dash is just that good.

Thanks Joe and Joel. There are tons of detailing opportunities in rally car interiors. I'm not going to go crazy however like I did on the Escort RS1800 build. With full side glass and everything being shades of black it's very difficult to see on the finished build and therefore to justify the effort.

JC, That's been my philosophy with many of the Tin Tops that I've been building. Can't see the point of spending time on areas that no one will ever see unless I hand out mini flashlights to the few people that will ever see my builds in person. I rather spend my time working on what everyone will see, and hopefully not screwing it up to badly.

Exactly Joel. We only have so many builds in us.
