I just noticed this build thread today myself. Very nice work! I have one of these in my stash to build so this will be a good guide for me. Not being picky here but this kit is not Senna's configuration for Monaco but it is correct for Nakajima. The reason I bring this up is that Studio 27 and Thunder Valley made a T-kit for the air intakes and turbo assemblies a few years ago.I am looking for one. There was one on ebay last month and I missed it. If anyone can help me locate on of them it would be appreciated. Regardless, yours is a great build. Steve

Hi,
Yes, the Thunder Valley F1 Detail kit has both short and long air intakes as well as templates in order to drill the body for long intakes and fill the body short intakes holes. I will use it for my build. The machined spindles are pretty cool too.

Pascal, You are indeed a fortunate man! I'm jealous . The Thunder Valley set is one of those things ordered but never received. I will keep my eyes open on evil bay and others looking for either of the two I mentioned and will be looking forward to a WIP from you on the Lotus. Steve

Steve I might start one soon (as soon as I’ll be able to use my right hand…) with few addons as part of a contest in French forum: yellow cars. I think I have a spare set of machined spindles. Joel, Sorry for being out of scope with this post, don’t hesitate to delete it if necessary. Pascal

Guys, No problems with the corrections. It's been years since I built the kit basically as the best OOB display model I can, which is my goals these days. I don't even remember if I varied from the instructions or not, or even missed the either or if there was indeed one.
Just kind of surprised that anyone actually viewed one of my builds this old before.

Joel, I most likely would have not noticed your thread unless Pascal had not posted to it.I am going to throw one more comment on it (at least for now) if you don't mind. Pascal,It looks as if you are really prepared for your build! I don't intend to get anywhere near what I see in your photo.I do see in the extreme right side a Studio 27 brake set.I recently purchased a set that is to be found in the following link and I like them much better. They are worth a good look.. Steve

I'm looking forward to both builds and you can use my OOB pics for any comparisons you might want to make.

Thanks Joel but you won't be seeing much from me in the near future on this kit as I have it's big brother(Beemax kit) to build along with a Meng MP4/4 to finish and I build at a glacial pace anymore.Actually I think glacier's move faster ! Steve

Steve, Lately no one moves slower at building as I, as I kind of took a break for more then a year to work on another major hobby project, but I'm getting to make my grand return pretty soon.

Hi Joel,
Glad to read you’ll soon be back with a WIP. May you tell us more about the future build?

Pascal, Actually, there's not much to tell as yet, as I don't even know what I'm going to grab out of my small stash. For certain it will be the best OOB with finished model display as my focus for now. Of course that could change by dinner time.
