Patrick, So when is retirement going to kick in? Joel From full-time work, my plan is May 26, 2023 when I turn 70. I am going to try to keep part-time status so I can keep my "P card" (Paramedic licensure) but we will see. We started paying for some property with a cabin outside of Willow, Alaska in January of this year... don't know where that plays into the scheme! My wife is 10 years younger than I and we will be working with her schedule of life as well!

Patrick, Sure sounds like a great plan.
I wanted to retire from work at 67, but stayed till I was 70 like you're planning on doing. Now every day is a like a vacation that just doesn't end. just don't ask my wife who now has to put up with me 24/7/365.

Ismael, Ok, then how about retiring at 67. of course now I'm to old to do half the things I've always wanted to do, but some is still way better then none.

In my line of work you will blow up and die way before retiring age. I don't see myself doing this for 17 more years. Ben, Again, Love your 330 P4

Ismael, I'm betting that you make it to the finish line in one piece, and in good health too.

About 20 years ago this video made me fall in love with the yellow 330P3. That is the car I want to build. Can't blame Alain DeCadenet for that stupid grin in his face... I kind of agree with his statement: "The 330 P3 and P4 still remain the most beautiful racing cars ever built"
Again, Ben, LOVE your P4 You are inspiring me to dig out mine. Thanks, Ismael

Good Evening Fellows, Working on my multitude of projects all at one time. Just received an EXCELLENT 1/24 resin 3D "Columbo" 250 Ferrari engine that has OUTSTANDING small Webers that I really wanted for my Mecom Hussein EIGHT Weber carbs (on another thread) but the "Texas3D" resin is SO Good I'll have to order another engine to put in the 330P conversion of the Academy 250 LM (which I also just received) is much better that the Burago diecast 250LMs which are way too heavy to make a kit from BUT the Burago's are an excellent source of parts (especially headlight buckets and covers for Lola GT MK VI) and Cobra Daytona Coupes. The only problem with the Academy 250LM is the plastic is VERY fragile and prone to chipping if you use a mini grinder from Harbor Freight but it's all I can find. AS to the Ferrari P3: the reason I love it over the P4 is the lower headlight is a larger diameter and the lower front fender is about 6 inches WIDER than a P4 which I like, a more "Brutal" look. Dean Paul Martin's P3 (412) is (I believe) from David Pipers collection which are a hash bag of various Ferrari junkyard parts (which is nice to have). Spent the morning downloading various Columbo 250 engine images which I compared to the Texas3D engine which I chopped the front engine transmission off and cut into sections for a rear engine transaxle.Painted Testors Model Maker metallic lacquer, just Beautiful. Thanx for viewing, John
