JC, I'm starting to see how your thought pattern looks for needed engineering improvements. I would have just glued the door cards in place, but your structure additions makes so much more sense.

Added square and round rod along the floor pan to simulate door sills and give me a secure bonding surface for the door cards to attach to. Now that's a good idea right there JC!

JC, Both cars are simply outstanding builds with one being a variation of the other. Can't wait to see them in some paint sooner then later.

Thanks Joe and Joel. I decided to detail the kit wheels similarly to what I did with the modified gravel wheels and they look pretty good. So new wheel direction on the tarmac spec car! Ismael should be happy.

Goody Goody Goody! That looks awesome! The 5 lug wheel is beautiful, but it had 1 lug too many for this application

I have other project ideas the 5-lug Campagnolo wheels will be appropriate for so nothing lost. The deep offset of the Cromodora wheels gives the car a more aggressive look as well.

Those Campagnolos are gorgeous on their own right!

There was huge void above the rear trans-axle extending all the way up to the package shelf. Made a filler panel to close it up. A friend who's eye and opinion I trust suggested I narrow the outer bead of the wheel rim. I had narrowed the bead some previously but took the leap and narrowed them further after studying more photographs. Glad I did! The wheel on the left is the newly modified wheel, the one on the right is where I was before. Narrowing the bead also has the effect of making the tire sidewall appear taller without increasing the overall diameter - win win.

Very nice JC. How'd you narrow that bead so evenly? A lathe? Made a huge difference.
