Patrick, Great pic, but whomever decided on those colors, must have been color blind. joel Whenever I get around to starting my 1:12 build, this is the car I'll be building, oddball combo be damned! It's very rarely built (huh, wonder why) and happens to be the only '66 I've seen in person. I do love the copper with the gold wheels, really, and could probably be convinced to leave the eye-searing green off. Regardless of colors, I just hope it'll look half as good as Patrick's!

Patrick,
Did you ever find out what was causing the blue dots in your paint? Are you happy with the colo(u)r? I thought it looked a bit grey in your pics, but my bottles arrived today and they are identical to your photos. I would like to have seen more blueyness, TBH!
I left the bottles for a couple of hours and couldn't believe the colour seperation. The top halves of both bottles were magenta!

Johnny,
I have bought some other brand of paint and it was too blue! I shelved it.
Mike and I talked and he looked at the photo and can’t figure it either… I’m hoping to hide it in the weathering process…

What’s going on, it’s been over a month Well, life is what happens while you're busy making other plans, according to John Lennon. I have had a number of things going on with the holidays on my days off. First family, then more family issues such as the death of my mother-in-law early on 12/30 and now my son is coming to visit during this week off! And I bought new fitting for my compressor so I can have both airbrushes plugged in without changing connections. I also bought a water gauge so I could accurately see that I was getting between 12-15 psi. And it has been quite cold with the temps never getting much above 40. Makes for a chilly workshop... speaking of which, I am thinking about an entirely new set-up in there which will mean pretty much gutting the thing and rearranging with shelving etc. I need to be more organized). I know at almost 69 years of age, that is asking a lot but quite frankly, I've been hanging on to far too much shit just because of sentimentality (like a reel-to-reel that no longer functions, along with a cassette deck that no longer functions) and a bunch of kits that have migrated from storage to the workshop. All that needs to be moved back to storage and I need to get out one kit at a time. In 2021, I didn't finish a single kit and I REFUSE to feel bad about that! There! That will teach you to ask a simple question! Hope your new year is productive and prosperous, Chris! Thanks for staying in touch!

No worries buddy! If you are interested MFH is re releasing the Ferrari shark nose this month when they get back from holiday Just talked with Chris at UpScale Hobbies. Is this where you purchase your kits? He is selling the 156 Ver. C for $795.95. Is this a good price? Is there someone else I should be using?

I think that’s a good price for that kit, I have seen them on eBay for 1,200+

So here is why I have stalled out on this project... it all started back in November with this thing called the holidays. Many decorations to put up and trees to get (we have four now... three artificial and one real pine since we have so many ornaments). Plus I do all the exterior decorating. Then we got into the full swing of things with visitors etc. and the next thing you know it is January! It didn't help that my MIL died on 12/30 so I have been helping my wife through all that...
I will be getting back to work ASAP but I still have about a days worth of exterior lights to get taken down and put away. And fighting things out of my control... I swear you will see progress soon.
Happiest of new years to you all!

Patrick, Glad to see that the GT40 MkII is still alive and well. So will you be just concentrating on it till completion, or will the Ferrari 256 be sharing your bench and your time?
