Chris, Outstanding!! It should really shine once you put on the gloss. Lacquer or 2K? Joel

But for a "million years" my go to clears have and still are except for car gloss finishes: Testors Model Master Dullcoat and Glosscoat. Is the Ultra the same as Glosscoat, which is Lacquer as well? Basically the same but I think it is just one step up from Glosscoat, it sprays on nice right out of the can, yeah I'm lazy, and it appears to have a special UV ingredient that when sprayed on windshields and clear parts gives it just a slight Blue tint, but it will hide most imperfections, so a lot less work on Clear windshields. I also never Yellows.. so I have to save one step up. I order it on line from Scalehobbyist.com for $4.09 a can part #1834, much less tham most hobby shops, they also have Tamiya TS lacquers at $4.89 !! plus shipping.. still saves me $20. in gas to the nearest Hobby Shop.. Chris Chris, Thanks for the info. ScaleHobbyist.com is my number 1 modeling resource these days, especially since I'm not longer modeling any aircraft. I still like Sprue brothers for supplies, etc. And I live two states away from them. Joel

FYI, as of this morning (3 Jan 2019, 1000 EST), Calvin has this conversion, er, transkit, on sale for $25, in case anyone is thinking of adding this set to their stash. Just ordered mine! Here's the link: IMSA Porsche 962 transkitBen (no affiliation with Calvin, etc.)

Well I finally got a break and put 2 more clear coats on the 962, I have been polishing it it out for a few days , when I get a break in all the usual BS. I also did the Carbon Fibre dash piece, it came out good now more polishing and then start painting the black around the windows,,,tedious work... Chris
